Comp: $18-22 hourly

Job Overview: As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, partners, and team members at our Crofton, MD office. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional image for the company, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.


Key Responsibilities:

· Greet and welcome visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.

· Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.

· Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.

· Arranging travel and accommodations for employees

· Maintaining office supplies and placing orders when inventory is low.

· Tracking shipments and materials delivered to our facility.

· Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

· Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings.

· Provide general administrative support, including data entry and filing.

· Ensure the reception area is well-stocked with necessary supplies.

· Handle inquiries and requests from clients and team members with professionalism and efficiency.

· Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive office environment.

· Support project managers in organizing and documenting project details.

· Prepare reports, presentations, and documents related to ongoing projects.


Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

· Proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive results.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be able to work in the office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

· Ability to perform essential job functions, including sitting, standing, and lifting objects up to 40 pounds, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
