About the Role

Description

 Location: 7816 Paseo Del Rey, Playa del Rey, CA
Pay: $17.87 – $18.00/hour + Wages to Lodging (rent credit based on hours worked)
Schedule: Part-Time | 8–10 hours per week 

  

About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and proactive Onsite Property Manager to oversee daily operations at a small 17-unit community in Playa del Rey.

This role is ideal for someone looking for light, consistent hours with the benefit of reduced housing costs through our wages-to-lodging program. You’ll handle resident relations, handle light administrative work, and help maintain a clean, well-run property.

 

Manager’s Unit & Compensation

  • On-site Unit: 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment
  • Wages to Lodging: Rent is not paid out-of-pocket; it is credited based on hours worked
  • Additional hourly compensation based on the schedule

What You’ll Do

  • Perform daily property walks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance  
  • Market the property, lease vacant units, and pre-lease upcoming vacancies
  • Coordinate and report maintenance needs in a timely manner
  • Communicate professionally with residents.
  • Process rental applications and agreements
  • Maintain clean, organized, and presentable common areas
  • Ensure residents follow community rules and policies
  • Collaborate closely with property management for smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate logs, notes, and communication through Yardi (experience preferred)

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Solid leasing and resident service experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

  • Yardi Voyager experience
  • Knowledge of Affordable Housing or Fair Housing compliance
