About The Company
Phoenix Rescue Mission is a Christ-centered nonprofit serving our Valley neighbors through three core programs: Street Outreach: Meeting neighbors where they are with water, hygiene items, heat relief, and connections to housing and recovery programs. Residential Recovery: Offering short-term crisis care and long-term programs that address the root causes of addiction and homelessness through counseling, discipleship, workforce development, and life-skills training. Food Distribution: Providing groceries, hygiene items, and case management through the Hope for Hunger Food Bank, mobile pantries, and community markets to people and families in need.

*Please note that this is a seasonal full-time position with a Tuesday - Saturday schedule, with the hours of 11am - 7pm.*

YOUR TOP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will provide transportation from one location to another for emergency heat relief shelters.
  • You are responsible for driving and maintaining a 15-passenger van.
  • You will maintain accurate records of all travel activities.
  • You will foster positive relationships with our partner agencies.
  • You will lead or participate in devotions, prayers, or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.

Requirements

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • You have a high school diploma or GED.
  • You have a current valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record of 2+ years (as verified by our company MVR check) and be able to qualify for our company Insurance Policy.
  • You have the ability to pass a required road test to drive a 15-passenger van.
  • You have a strong knowledge of traffic laws and highway safety rules and regulations.
  • You preferably are bilingual in Spanish.
  • You have a solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.
