About the Role

Job Description 

Serves as the primary support to the Mortgage Servicing Manager, assisting in the oversight and administration of all mortgage accounts from closing through final satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing and monitoring key servicing functions such as insurance tracking, tax payments, mortgage satisfactions, returned payments, mortgage verifications, and document management. Ensures accurate record keeping and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

•Mortgage Servicing Manager


Primary Responsibilities

• Helping keep the entire servicing operation running smoothly

• Stepping in when the manager is unavailable

• Quality Control - Review daily reports to catch errors or inconsistencies

• Manage all loans in Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Subpoenas, Stipulation Agreements, Referee figures and Short Sale

• Backup for signing Consolidation Extension Modification Agreement (CEMA) documents and any other documents as needed

• Verifies and signs Summons & Complaints and Proof of Claims when needed

• Manages escalated borrower issues

• Responds to Credit Disputes

• Checks annual Escrow Analysis and Surplus Analysis

• Checks monthly billing on all new loans sent to our tax servicer

• Checks monthly Adjustable Mortgage Loans, Balloon Loans, Prime rates

• Checks year-end work

• Additional duties as needed


Desired Skills & Experience

• 8 - 10 years of mortgage or relevant experience required

• Effective communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Familiar with E-Oscar

• Ability to practice diplomacy with customers, staff and coworkers
