About the Role

Now Hiring: Police Records Specialist

Looking for a meaningful career where you can make a real impact—without being on patrol? Join our La Vista Police Department as a Police Records Specialist and help keep our community safe through accuracy, organization, and service.

In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our department’s records system—entering reports, assisting the public, maintaining critical data, and ensuring information is accurate and accessible. You’ll also serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for visitors and callers.

What we’re looking for:

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to type 45+ WPM
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality

Bonus if you have:

  • Law enforcement or records experience
  • Bilingual skills
