We are looking for a new team member for the role of Solution Architect & Platform Engineering Lead
Location: Tbilisi

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Delivery

•             Define architecture and technology roadmap for mobile, web, and API platforms.
•             Align solutions with product needs and development capabilities.
•             Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability (response time, scalability, fault tolerance).
•             Establish monitoring, logging, and operational standards.
•             Lead technical governance (architecture, APIs, security, integrations).

Cross-Functional Alignment

•             Work closely with development teams and software architects to ensure feasible and efficient implementation.
•             Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and sysadmin teams to ensure platforms are deployable and scalable.
•             Act as the key bridge between product, engineering, and infrastructure.

Platform Engineering Leadership

•             Lead team hiring, development, and performance management.
•             Coordinate delivery across platform engineering roles (DevOps, SRE, system engineers).
•             Translate business goals into clear technical objectives for the team.
•             Own team performance and operational metrics; drive continuous improvement.
•             Act as escalation point and decision-maker for cross-functional trade-offs.

Hands-On Enablement

•             Support platform setup using DevOps/sysadmin resources or directly contribute when needed.
•             Ensure environments and pipelines are aligned with architecture and delivery needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need,
Requirements:

•             Strong experience in solution architecture and software engineering.
•             Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
•             Hands-on knowledge of mobile, web, and API ecosystems.
•             Solid understanding of cloud, microservices, and DevOps practices.
•             Experience with high availability, performance optimization, and monitoring.
•             Strong ownership mindset with focus on delivery.
