About the Role

Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst 3 manages the scope, risk, and delivery of system changes by serving as a central coordinator for the Cloud Change Control Board (CCB). This role ensures that all Change Requests (CR) are rigorously reviewed, implemented, and tested to prevent any adverse impacts on business processes, technical environments, or security posture. You will bridge the gap between technical implementation and governance, ensuring that every modification meets organizational requirements before formal closure.

Responsibilities

  • Change Control & Governance

    • Work in direct coordination with the Cloud Change Control Board (CCB) to process and review Change Requests (CR)..

    • Confirm that proposed changes do not negatively impact business processes, the existing technical environment, or the overall security posture.

    • Maintain the CSM ticketing tool for change release.

    • Provision and maintain Azure Dedicated Hosts and Host Groups to provide hardware isolation for isolated workloads.

    • Coordinate with internal and external agencies as necessary to support broader CSM operational needs.

  • Implementation & Validation

    • Execute the implementation of Change Requests once they have been formally accepted by the CCB.

    • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify that the change meets all documented requirements.

    • Formally close out Change Requests only after successful validation and requirement fulfillment.

  • Technical Support & Risk Analysis

    • Assist in addressing Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical tickets to resolve Mission Owner (MO) cloud environment issues.

    • Conduct thorough problem risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential failures within the cloud ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of cloud engineering experience with a strong background in project management, specifically in evaluating and managing risk.

  • Expertise in Azure administration and cloud architecture.

  • Familiarity with UAT processes and change control governance frameworks.

  • Experience managing contractual deliverables and project schedules.

  • Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps toolchains.

  • Current Security+ certification.

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Active Security+ certification.

  • Professional cloud certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Associate.

  • Knowledge of DoD SRG and NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
