About the Role

Connectronics Corp., a U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies has an opening in Toledo, OH for a molder to produce parts, examine parts for defects, and deliver required quantity for kits.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Read work orders to determine which parts are required to be produced, define product specifications, and outline materials requirements.
  • Position assembled mold on press bed of molding machine and aligns die with matrix.
  • Sets machine controls to regulate forming pressure of machine and curing time of plastic in mold.
  • Starts machine to produce samples, examines samples for defects, and adjusts machine set-up to eliminate defects.
  • This person will be responsible for examining all parts produced to make sure there are no defects.
  • Remove or trim excess material from products using knives or scrapers.
  • Producing molded components in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Other job functions as required.
