About the Role
Description
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons including accident prevention in the water and on surrounding areas as well as the rescue & care of accident victims.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with & enforce the policies, procedures and regulations of Roseland Waterpark
- Present oneself in a professional manner at all times
- Prevent accidents & minimize or eliminate hazardous conditions
- Respond quickly to all emergency situations
- Administer any first aid needed by a victim of an accident
- Educate guests and inform them of the purpose & need for rules and regulations
- Attend all weekly training sessions
- Complete all records & reports as required
- Perform other support duties as required
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Age 16 or older
- Ability to relate to staff and guests
- Required certification: Current Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Certification (provided through Roseland Waterpark)
- Must have weekend availability and flexible weekday availability
Hours:
- Hours of employment are dependent on business demands
