About the Role

Description

Compact Security Services have a fantastic opportunity available to join our team on a fixed term over our busy Festival Season as an Event Operations Co-ordinator.  The role would start from mid May until September supporting our operational team with event planning, preparation and on site co-ordination, administration for delivery of large format events across the UK. Full-time role, for the duration of the contract working average 40 hours but this will vary subject to requirement of operations.

 

In this role, you would work with senior management and operations team and duties will include:

  • Support and assist Senior Managers in planning and packing for upcoming events and festivals. 
  • Work in conjunction with the Management team to coordinate all requirements to ensure all festivals delivered in line with established timelines and plans, this will include booking of services, contacting suppliers, staff allocations, transport and welfare and related admin.
  • Support managers where required in communication with staff on site and prior to events
  • Support logistics planning in ensuring all ordered packed checked and deliveries to site scheduled in line with requirements and access timelines
  • Accompany management team to site for all festivals and work on site during the events, supporting with logistics and day to day requirements and administration.
  • Post event ensure all on site packed up fully and all equipment returned, and all relevant documentation collated, reviewed and filed in line with requirements
  • Where required deliver items to site or collect items from local suppliers – therefore a clean driving license is essential. 

The right candidate for this role will have :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience in logistics, operations, or events planning.  
  • Excellent organisations skills and knowledge of microsoft office in particular excel
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Hands-on, team-focused attitude with the ability to lead by example.  
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional extended hours, including weekends during peak periods.  
  • A clean UK driving licence (essential).  
  • SIA license (preferred)
  • Comfortable with travelling which will include overnight stays for a number of nights during festival season
