Metrology Lead
Labcorp is seeking a Metrology Lead to join our team in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform complex routine (scheduled calibrations and preventive maintenance) and non-routine (repair) procedures in support of scientific and laboratory equipment.
- Collect, compile, measure, summarize and record data developed during performance of routine and non-routine maintenance activities.
- Works with computer-controlled instrumentation and the associated software applications.
- Conducts scientific instrumentation and laboratory equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Perform as a metrological subject matter expert (SME) of scientific instrumentation and laboratory equipment.
- Trains less experienced Metrology Technicians on the proper preventive maintenance and calibration of scientific Instrumentation and laboratory equipment.
- Provide metrological support for projects.
- Participate in continuous improvement opportunities.
- Manage quality events utilizing an electronic quality management system (QMS) for audit findings or quality issues.
- Lead process improvement initiatives for a given site.
- Facilitate the creation of operation and capital expenditure requests for the Metrology department.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, differential pressure).
- Support maintenance of HVAC systems, cleanroom facilities, and laboratory utilities.
- Maintain service and repair records and archive documentation in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with GxP and internal quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- 2 years or more experience in laboratory metrology.
- 2 years or more experience working in GxP regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 months or more experience with calibration techniques and environmental monitoring systems.
- 3 months or more experience with the use of CMMS or CCMS software.
- 3 months or more experience in the use and care of measurement standards.
Additional Job Standards:
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer controlled analytical systems.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Adapts to challenging times to produce results.
- Decision making and problem solving skills.
- Works collaboratively.
- Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
