Job Purpose

To effectively and efficiently partner with hiring managers in the recruiting and onboarding process. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new hires by coordinating all aspects of recruitment from posting open job requisitions through onboarding of new hires.  This is a hybrid role working from the corporate office in Schaumburg 2-3 days a week.

  

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers in the recruitment and onboarding process. 
  • Responsible for posting job requisitions through Paylocity and external job boards.
  • Assist with passive sourcing and full life cycle recruiting when needed.
  • Process and review candidate profiles to evaluate qualifications or eligibility for employment.
  • Partner with hiring managers to coordinate the offer letter process and background checks.
  • Coordinate the electronic onboarding process ensuring all steps are completed appropriately.
  • Conduct new hire orientations on a weekly basis.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as processing new hire paperwork and data entry utilizing Excel. 
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Qualifications/Skill Sets

  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits. 
  • Excellent organization, time management and interpersonal skills. Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with persons of diverse backgrounds and educational levels.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HR related software, such as Paylocity.
  • Skilled in working with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization. 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred but not required. Will consider relevant work experience.
  • 1-2 Years of Recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience. 

Physical Requirements

  •  Ability to remain in a stationary position, sitting and/or standing, for extended time [e.g. sitting at a desk, working at a computer].

Availability / Schedule:

  • Full time, Monday - Friday
  • Hybrid schedule - 2-3 days a week in the corporate office
