About The Company
Tueller Counseling Services is a trusted, established mental health clinic with multiple facilities in the Southeast Idaho region. In 2004, Thomas Tueller started working for a parent company alongside four employees, offering mental health services. In 2011, Thomas branched off and began Tueller Counseling Services in Idaho Falls. The Rigby office was opened later that same year, and the Rexburg office opened the following year in 2012. The Pocatello office opened in 2014, and there are currently more than 75 employees working at Tueller Counseling Services in all four locations. Tueller Counseling began as a mental health clinic - focusing on children, adolescents, adults and their families by helping to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
About the Role

Description

Title: HR & Payroll Specialist 


Purpose: Assist and provide support for the Human Resource Director and CEO/CFO as needed and by: managing payroll, being positive and organized and work well in a team to accomplish goals. 


Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School education
  • Detail-Oriented/Organizational Skills
  • Understanding of QuickBooks


Department: Administrative


Supervised by: Human Resource Director


Positions supervised: None


Location: Idaho Falls office


Requirements

Job functions, responsibility, and authority:

  • Collect timesheets for all employees and process payroll each month. 
  • Address any mistakes or corrections needed for payroll in QuickBooks. 
  • Submit payroll into QuickBooks each month. 
  • Pay applicable payroll taxes.
  • Add new employees and assist with the management of Paylocity.
  • Track employee’s eligibility for insurance every month. Notify HR when an employee has qualified for benefits or when they have lost benefits. 
  • Act as ICANS administrator by adding and removing users and update current users yearly. 
  • Assist Human Resource Department by acting as a notary for background checks, making new employee badges and archive old employee files. 
  • Assist with the Drug Testing program by setting up drug testing and emailing employees 1 day prior to the test. 
  • Assist with updating and managing policies & procedures. 
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding of new hires. 
  • Audit employee files and ensure records are clean and accurate. 
  • Assist with managing the employee tracking spreadsheet.
  • Any other tasks as assigned
