About You
To be successful you will bring experience across software testing, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
You will also have:
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst or in a similar QA/testing role.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Knowledge of reservation systems within the travel industry (highly regarded).
About The Role
Reporting to the Group Manager Application Development, you will be responsible for analysing requirements, designing and executing tests, managing defects, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality software delivery. Your primary goal will be to identify and report defects or issues in software systems to ensure that they meet the specified requirements and function as expected.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse functional and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, usability, performance, and security.
- Log and track defects with clear replication steps, severity, and supporting evidence.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability following changes or defect fixes.
- Prepare and present test plans, progress updates, and summary reports.
- Maintain all test documentation, including test cases, test data, and environment setup instructions.
- Collaborate with developers, the IT team, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement and user‑story reviews to support quality outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
You’ll work across a variety of systems, including travel and reservation technologies, supporting the delivery of digital solutions that help enhance customer journeys across Australia.
