SUMMARY:
The HR Representative supports a comprehensive range of Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement. This role is instrumental in reinforcing the company’s culture and brand, while ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes. By driving strategic recruitment efforts, the HR Representative helps attract and retain high-caliber talent, and provides consistent, high-quality support to employees and leadership across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment process from job posting through offer acceptance, including interview scheduling, candidate screening, and onboarding.
- Develop and support strategic recruitment initiatives that reflect ESL’s brand, values, and business goals.
- Represent ESL’s brand at recruiting events, job fairs, and through digital channels to promote the company as an employer of choice.
- Partner with department leaders to identify talent needs and create aligned job descriptions.
- Administer employee benefits, including new hire enrollments and annual open enrollments.
- Handles the full cycle of leave administration, from request to reinstatement.
- Guide new hires through the orientation process and improve the overall onboarding experience.
- Coordinate background checks and pre-employment screenings.
- Assist with employee relations, including inquiries, investigations, and participation in disciplinary meetings.
- Manages workflows to ensure the promotion process is followed properly.
- Demonstrate alignment with company values in all aspects of work and interactions.
- Accurate tracking and reporting of KPI’s.
- Adhere to safety procedures and employee handbook policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human Resources
- 3+ years working with HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity
