Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective application designs. This role requires active participation in defining detailed requirements and contributing to the architectural planning of software solutions. The position demands continuous engagement with various teams to ensure that the developed applications align with the intended business processes and deliver optimal functionality. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical design activities with communication and coordination efforts to support seamless project progression and successful implementation of custom software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to address challenges and optimize workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Gen AI Hub.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative software design.
- Experience in application requirement analysis and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment involving multiple teams.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices in custom software engineering.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear understanding among diverse stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Gen AI Hub.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
