About the Role

Description

Hours: 3:30 PM – 11 PM 

Hourly Pay: $16 - $18 

Seasonal Position: Starting mid-April – November  


Property Overview 

Saucon Valley Country Club owns and operates the historic 13-room Weyhill Guest House and two 8-room Cottages located on our beautiful Weyhill Campus. Reserved exclusively for members and their guests, the Guest House and Cottages offer an intimate lodging experience for wedding parties, golf groups, and visiting members. 


The Weyhill Guest House and Cottages are designed to feel like a private residence within the club, offering quiet luxury, attentive service, and a peaceful retreat within our 850-acre property. 


Purpose of the Position 

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and professional transportation services to club members and their guests. 


This position serves as an ambassador of Saucon Valley Country Club, ensuring each guest interaction reflects the club’s commitment to exceptional service, professionalism, and hospitality. 


Responsibilities 

  • Provide transportation for members and guests between the Guest House, clubhouse, golf courses, and other club facilities  
  • Ensure passengers are transported safely and efficiently  
  • Assist guests entering and exiting the vehicle when necessary  
  • Provide directions or general club information to guests when appropriate 
  • Maintain courteous and respectful communication at all times  
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism when interacting with members 
  • Safely operate shuttle vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and club policies  
  • Perform routine vehicle safety checks before each shift  
  • Report any vehicle concerns, maintenance issues, or incidents to management immediately  
  • Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times 
  • Assist with luggage, golf bags or guest belongings when needed  
  • Provide support during club events, weddings, and group stays when transportation is required 
  • Maintain clear communication with Guest House staff and management regarding transportation needs  
  • Notify staff of guest arrivals or departures when appropriate  
  • Report any service concerns or guest feedback 
  • Assist with light property support tasks when transportation demand is low  
  • Support Guest House or club operations as directed by management  
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required  
  • Experience operating larger passenger vehicles, vans, or shuttle vehicles preferred  
  • Strong hospitality and customer service skills  
  • Professional appearance and demeanor  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Ability to interact comfortably with club members and guests  
  • Knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle operation  
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous in all situations  
  • Reliability and punctuality  
  • Country club, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 
  • Lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Climb stairs 
  • Work in varying environmental conditions 
  • Ability to operate large passenger vehicles  
  • Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout shift
