Associate - Receiving/Warehouse

Position: Receiving/Warehouse Associate 

Our Receiving/Warehouse Associates play a critical role in ensuring all incoming products are accurately checked in, inspected, and organized to support smooth store operations. This position is responsible for verifying deliveries, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and upholding Joseph’s standards of safety and accuracy.   

Routine Tasks:

• Receive products based on purchase orders, verifying item weights, counts, and quantities
• Inspect all incoming products for proper dating, quality, and packaging condition
• Record and maintain accurate receiving logs and invoice information
• Ensure warehouse areas, coolers, and storage spaces meet Joseph’s cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Store products in their correct locations in a timely and organized manner
• Unload delivery trucks, break down pallets, and separate items for departments
• Safely operate pallet jacks, scales, and other warehouse equipment
• Assist with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple deliveries and prioritize tasks
• Ability to maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness
• Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• A passion for serving people

A Receiving/Warehouse Associate performs their tasks primarily in the warehouse and back-door receiving areas. Work involves walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 80 pounds. Work also includes frequent interaction with fellow employees and occasional interaction with customers.
