What You’ll Get to Do

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing quality control and quality assurance activities within the manufacturing facility, with a focus on incoming inspection, in-process verification, and final product compliance. This role ensures adherence to ISO 9001 standards and internal quality procedures, while leading a team of quality inspectors to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors across multiple shifts.
  • Coordinate and monitor incoming material inspections, ensuring conformance to specifications and supplier quality requirements.
  • Oversee in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for internal and external nonconformances.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
  • Prepare and analyze quality metrics and reports, present findings to management.
  • Support internal and external audits, including ISO 9001 surveillance and customer audits.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal forming.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D, PPAP).
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measurement tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP and QMS software systems is a plus.
Position Pay Range
$81,000$95,000 USD
