About the opportunity 

The Transformation team provides capabilities in strategic planning and delivery, program and project management, process improvement and change delivery, where a cross-portfolio approach or additional focus, investment or expertise is valuable to address the University’s transformational or strategic opportunities and challenges. 

This position is accountable for analysis of business processes, services, governance, data and information, with a view to understanding experience and identifying pain points, risks and improvement opportunities. The occupant will support the engagement of stakeholders at various levels of the University to analyse current state, support requirements gathering, and support the development of strategies and plans to deliver improvements or transform ways of working. 

Key responsibilities  

  • Analyse and document business requirements and processes to support improvements across systems, information management, policies and organisational change.  

  • Assess, design and improve business processes in partnership with subject matter experts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.  

  • Lead requirements scoping, definition and prioritisation activities within projects, facilitating stakeholder input and consensus.  

  • Conduct user experience analysis to define user needs, behaviours and performance requirements across processes, services and systems.  

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to resolve competing requirements and deliver effective, user centred solutions.  

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to support collaboration, information sharing and effective issue management. 

About you 

  • The occupant of this position will hold a relevant postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in Business Analysis 

  • Experience with Nintex Process Manager or an equivalent tools would be advantageous; strong capability in process mapping and improvement capability will be highly regarded.  

Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.

Salary Range 
 
HEW 8 Salary – Base $113,713.03 - $127,923.91 + 17% super. Full package range - $133,044.25 - $149,670.98.
