This site is the integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center. It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.
Manufacturing Plant: We are key player in the automotive sector, offering a wide range of products including Gasoline injector valve, Connector, and Rotor. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, Bosch Thailand supports the transition to electric mobility and the development of connected, automated, and personalized automotive technologies.
R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as Fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.
Job Description
- Process Optimization & Stable Flow: Work closely with production teams to implement the Bosch Production System (BPS), ensuring stable, waste-free processes, and lead continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives through the BPS System CIP methodology.
- Value Stream Planning: Map current (VSM) and future state (VSD, VS Vision) processes to visualize the flow, identify the bottlenecks and waste, and improve the value stream performance.
- Standardization: Deploy the BPS standards across value streams and support functions to achieve consistency, effectiveness and operational reliability.
- Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to production teams on BPS principles, lean concepts and tools, and expected behaviors to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Shop Floor Support and Gemba walk: Conduct regular Gemba walks to collaborate with value stream teams, identify challenges, and provide BPS support to value stream teams for effective problem-solving.
- Facilitating System CIP events: Leading improvement workshops to identify the continuous improvement projects.
- Change Management: Act as a change agent to drive cultural transformation, encouraging a mindset of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Qualifications
Education Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related Engineering fields.
Qualifications:
- >5 years experience in the manufacturing environment implementing lean tools and continuous improvement (CI)
- Proficiency in VSM/VSD, 5S, Kaizen, PDCA approach, A3 logic, SMED, Kanban, Poka Yoke and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Good in MS Excel (PowerBi is a plus)
- Able to leading the continuous improvement projects, able to provide coaching to production teams and employees about lean concept and tools
- Build the culture of motivation and continuous improvement through dynamic and engaging events.
