Role Summary:

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented IT Administrator to take ownership of IT operational administration, including asset lifecycle management, licensing, vendor coordination, and compliance support.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate tracking of IT assets, improving cost control, and supporting audit readiness, while enabling senior IT staff to focus on engineering and strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage IT asset lifecycle (hardware inventory, assignments, repairs, disposals)
  • Lead implementation and ongoing management of asset management tools (e.g., SnipIT), including initial data population and governance
  • Manage software licenses and subscriptions (Microsoft, Adobe, SaaS tools), including allocation, renewals, and optimisation
  • Perform monthly expense reconciliation (credit cards, receipts, vendor charges)
  • Coordinate procurement activities (orders, deliveries, warranty tracking, vendor follow-ups)
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation (asset registers, vendor lists, contracts)
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes (asset allocation, tracking, recovery)
  • Assist with compliance and audit requirements (evidence collection, reporting, policy tracking)
  • Provide general administrative support to IT operations

Key Requirements:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in IT administration, IT support, or IT operations
  • Experience with asset management or inventory systems (e.g., SnipIT, ServiceNow, Intune, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 licensing and SaaS environments
  • Experience handling procurement, vendors, or expense tracking is a plus
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and systems tracking
  • Strong communication and coordination skills

  • Process-driven and structured mindset
  • Financial awareness (cost tracking, optimisation mindset)
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of administrative domains
  • Experience in a fast-paced or growing organisation

Key Outcomes (First 3–6 Months):

  • Snip IT fully implemented and populated with accurate asset data
  • Clear visibility and tracking of all IT assets
  • Improved control and reporting of software licensing and spend
  • Streamlined monthly expense reconciliation process
