Accountant

Description

Accountant II is responsible for general accounting functions including preparing journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and bank reconciliations. In addition, they will support the Controller and Senior Accountant in fulfilling the responsibilities of the Finance department including but not limited to overseeing accounts payable functions, payroll administration, and fixed asset administration.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

· Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience 

· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

· Technical accounting skills

· Non-profit healthcare experience preferred
