Summary
Responsible for coordinating and supporting a community-focused annual plan that helps generate incremental membership and maximizes community event participation. Assists in identifying opportunities and executing activities to increase membership within the credit union’s field of membership. Coordinates and supports the delivery of informational programs such as on-site presentations, education seminars, benefit fairs, on-site sign-ups, and community events to increase credit union product and service awareness. Actively promotes activities using social media channels.
Essential Functions
25% 1. Support execution of the credit union’s Live Nation contract, including approximately 20 concerts annually. Coordinate ticket giveaways, assist with VIP events, organize and staff activation tables, and help facilitate concierge ticket distribution.
25% 2. Organize and schedule social media activities within established brand guidelines. Create and schedule content, monitor platforms, and respond or escalate posts as appropriate. Track engagement metrics and provide input on opportunities to improve reach and effectiveness. Route comments and inquiries to appropriate departments for follow-up.
10% 3. Collaborate with branch teams and Education department to support event planning and budget-related activities.
20% 4. Represent the credit union at on-site presentations, benefit fairs, on-site sign-ups, concerts, and community events. Promote credit union membership and products/services while engaging with current and potential members.
20% 5. Coordinate logistics for credit union events such as board elections, annual meetings, and sponsorship activities. Ensure promotional giveaways, brochures, and supplies are ordered, organized, and distributed appropriately for events and branch needs.

Expectations
- Attend community events regularly and maintain an up-to-date tracking database. Communicate event details to branch personnel and appropriate channels.
- Ensure Live Nation concert activations are supported with staffing, giveaways, and credit union materials. Organize social media ticket giveaways based on guidelines.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers to achieve department and credit union goals. Maintain professionalism and tact in all interactions. Ensure responsibilities are completed accurately and on time, and that coverage is arranged during absences. Overnight travel may be required.
- Keep supervisor informed of activities, progress, and any significant issues.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education: BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in marketing, events, or community relations (financial institution experience preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Effective writing and public speaking abilities. Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Creative, team-oriented, and adaptable with a high level of energy and professionalism. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout) preferred.
