Purpose / Overview

RP3 is an independent, full-service creative and performance agency that turns wildly original ideas into outsized results. We partner with ambitious brands to create work that stands out and drives real impact. The HR Manager is a hands-on people leader supporting a growing agency across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and culture-building. This role is ideal for someone with a strong recruiting foundation who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited to help shape the people function as we scale. You’ll partner closely with leadership to attract exceptional talent, foster an inclusive culture, and build the processes needed for long-term growth.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Staffing

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across creative, account, strategy, and operations roles 
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of freelance and full-time talent 
  • Partner with hiring managers on role definition, interview process, and selection 
  • Strengthen employer branding to attract diverse, high-quality candidates 
  • Manage onboarding to ensure a seamless, engaging experience 

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters 
  • Address concerns with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment 
  • Support conflict resolution and coach managers on communication and leadership 

Performance Management

  • Oversee performance cycles, including goal-setting, feedback, and development planning 
  • Partner with leadership to identify high-potential talent and growth opportunities 
  • Coach managers on performance conversations and team development 

Culture, Engagement & DEI

  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture 
  • Lead engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building efforts 
  • Support DEI through inclusive hiring practices and culture-building programs 
  • Monitor engagement trends and recommend improvements 

People Operations

  • Maintain HR policies, handbook, and compliance with applicable regulations 
  • Oversee key processes (vs. executing): 
    • HR systems, data accuracy, and reporting 
    • Benefits administration and employee support 
  • Support compensation benchmarking and leveling as the agency grows 

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of HR experience in a creative agency, marketing/advertising firm, or similar environment 
  • Strong recruiting experience, especially for creative and client-facing roles 
  • Experience across employee relations, performance management, and culture initiatives 
  • Experience with Paylocity a plus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing organization where processes are evolving
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution 
  • Passion for building an inclusive, engaging workplace
