Griffith Health is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Clinic Support Officer to join our clinic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality administrative and client support within a healthcare setting.
Reporting to the Reception Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. As the first point of contact, you will provide professional reception and administrative support to patients, students, and staff, while contributing to a positive and efficient clinic experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional front-line customer service via phone, email, and in person
- Manage patient enquiries and resolve routine matters, escalating when required
- Coordinate patient bookings and maintain accurate scheduling records
- Process payments and perform daily financial reconciliation and reporting
- Maintain and update clinic systems, records, and databases
- Assist with patient record management, including documentation and results handling
- Support general administrative functions, reporting, and correspondence
- Collaborate with clinic staff to support service delivery and operations
About You
You are an organised and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent client service. You will bring:
- An associate diploma qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in administrative or reception roles, ideally within a healthcare or clinic environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence using digital systems and databases
- The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A strong client focus, excellent presentation, and a demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.

This is a part-time (80%) fixed-term position until 30 October 2026, based primarily at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus.
Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 4 range $73,623 - $77,680 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86,139 - $90,886 per annum.
