Function/Duties of Position

Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide.

• Performs basic chemical transformations.
• Assists in tests of new illumination device for photo-crosslinking.
• Assists with cleaning glassware and autoclaving.
• Assists with microscopy and tissue culture.

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in an Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours).

• 3 months of lab experience.

Additional Details

This position is located on the Oregon Health & Science University Marquam Hill campus in Portland, Oregon.

 

The specific hours to be determined between employee and supervisor.
