PRIMARY PURPOSE –
The HR Operations Generalist is responsible for overseeing core HR operational processes, compliance programs, employee communications, and reporting functions. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, drives process optimization, and enhances the employee experience through effective communication, data insights, and program management.
This position serves as a central point of coordination across HR services, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across multiple HR functions including leave administration, compliance auditing, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - onsite
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
HR Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee and manage the HR Inbox to ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses to employee inquiries
- Maintain and improve HR knowledge resources, including FAQs for team members
- Manage HR Teams Channel collateral to ensure consistency and accuracy
Compliance & Auditing
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
- Oversee compliance poster management and updates
- Lead I-9 audits and monitoring, including corrective action tracking
- Manage driver audit processes where applicable
- Monitor and improve compliance-related workflows and documentation
Leave & Accommodation Management
- Oversee Leave of Absence (LOA) programs including FMLA, state programs and related policies
- Manage ADA accommodations and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Lead optimization initiatives for Medical Leave and ADA processes
- Provide guidance and exceptional support to our team members and leaders through this process.
Workers’ Compensation
- Oversee workers’ compensation claims administration
- Communicate and collaborate with Payroll to manager timecard changes
Employee Engagement & Communications
- Lead employee survey administration, analysis, and reporting
- Manage engagement platforms such as Energage (3rd party) surveys – bi-annually
- Develop and distribute HR newsletters and Leaders Digest communications
- Ensure alignment and clarity in messaging across all HR communications
Reporting & Analytics
- Produce HR scorecard reports
- Track key HR metrics and provide insights into HR leadership
Additional HR Support
- Support recruitment when needed
- Support companywide events as needed
- Other additional duties as assigned

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of HR experience with exposure to compliance, leave management, and HR operations
- Required previous experience managing multi-state leave administration
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, I-9, workers’ compensation)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
