We are seeking an experienced Supervising Project Engineer to lead electrical engineering projects from concept through production. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, oversee project execution, mentor engineering staff, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products that meet customer and business requirements.

Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Serve as Lead Engineer on assigned projects, assigning and coordinating work for engineers, designers, and drafters
- Plan, direct, and oversee engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Review specifications, conduct design reviews, and support pre-production builds and transfers to manufacturing
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet company quality standards and customer expectations
- Act as Quality Control reviewer for team deliverables and participate in QC meetings
- Develop career development and skills training plans for team members and provide onboarding feedback
- Perform supervisory responsibilities, including approving time off, expense reports, and timesheets
- Support project planning activities, including scope, schedules, risk assessments, and budgets
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage lessons learned from similar projects
- Provide technical guidance and serve as a liaison to other departments as needed
- Prepare technical briefings and assist senior leadership with problem resolution
- Support Sales and Marketing with technical input for bids and proposals
- Participate in strategic initiatives and development of engineering standards
- Communicate budget or schedule impacts to the Project Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4+ years of electrical design experience, including analog, digital, and/or high-voltage systems
- At least 4 years of experience designing and analyzing electrical/electronic systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and production support
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and other computer-aided engineering tools
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience mentoring or supervising engineering staff

Pay will depend on education, experience, skills, and location. The posted range reflects our current expectations but may change. Tesco also offers a benefits package with health coverage, paid time off, holidays, and a 100% match on 401K contributions up to 4% of earnings.
