About the Role

As Lead, Global HR Operations (MEA region) in our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for both our clients and their employees. You will be responsible for managing the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional support to all stakeholders.  

What you’ll do

  • Maintain and track SLAs for MEA region (Onboarding, offboarding & Tickets)
  • Streamline workflows for better collaboration between HR Ops, Payroll & CEM Team
  • Act as the point of escalation for MEA region
  • Build strong relationships with local vendors for smooth client delivery

1. Onboarding:  

  • Ensure all necessary paperwork, documents, and systems access are prepared compliantly for new hires  
  • Manages visa cases end-to-end: document collection, tracking applications, coordinating with partners, renewal reminders, employee updates.
  • Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and procedures 
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to new hires, addressing any questions or concerns  

2. Offboarding: 

  • Act as the subject matter expertise to advise on the offboarding laws and regulations to ensure compliance  
  • Coordinate with the payroll department and local vendors to ensure accurate final pay to the exit employees and timely deregistration  
  • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees  
  • Collect and process all necessary exit documentation and return company assets 
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure a smooth departure process 

3. Compliance and Documentation: 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee onboarding and offboarding activities  
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards  
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations related to onboarding and offboarding  

4. Candidate Experience: 

  • Act as a point of contact for candidates during their onboarding and offboarding processes  
  • Continuously seek feedback to enhance the candidate’s experience and make improvements as needed  
  • Provide exceptional customer service to candidates, addressing their needs promptly and professionally  

Who you are: 

  • 3-6 years of experience as an HR Onboarding Specialist, HR Ops, or in a relevant HR field  
  • Proven experience in onboarding and offboarding processes, preferably in staffing or HR .
  • Hands-on experience/knowledge of policy administration, compensation & payroll is a must.
  • Experience/ knowledge of immigration feasibility, permit classification, country rules (specific to MEA region), partner governance, escalation handling, HR advisory to clients would be a plus.  
  • Experience of using any known HRMS platform thoroughly  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  
  • Bachelor's degree/ MBA in Human Resources Management or similar field 
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in an entrepreneurial setting, working independently across multiple groups, and thriving in a high-pressure and rapidly growing environment
