The GTS Digital ComOps function reports directly to the GTS Digital Commercial Leader and plays a key role within the ITO (Inquiry‑to‑Order) team. Working closely with multiple functions and stakeholders, the role is responsible for coordinating all commercial activities and gathering the necessary inputs to manage the full proposal lifecycle in compliance with Baker Hughes standards and processes.
The candidate is expected to collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and KS Business Developers, operating with a high level of autonomy. In addition, strong interaction with the execution team (OTR) is essential to ensure fast convertibility, accurate hand‑offs, and high‑quality, timely execution.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of the proposal process, including proposal development, risk assessment and mitigation, pricing, customer negotiations, and issue resolution.
- Leading the deal process by creatively structuring commercial and technical elements and managing any contractual matters that may arise during execution.
- Owning the overall project proposal strategy, including compiling and submitting tender documentation and organizing Bid‑to‑Win or Risk Review sessions.
- Collaborating with regional sales teams to develop commercial strategies and solutions aligned with customer requirements.
- Coordinating commercial engagements across multiple functions, including engineering, legal, risk, finance, and others.
- Ensuring quality, completeness, and timely responsiveness throughout the proposal cycle, while supporting adherence to processes and best practices.

To be successful in this role you will:
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university
- Strong interest in Digital Solutions and motivation to work within a global organization contributing to Energy Transition
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Self‑starter with high motivation, strong leadership qualities, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communicator at all levels, with active listening skills and an open‑minded approach
- Customer‑driven mindset with a strong focus on delivering value
- Ability to analyze issues, propose solutions, and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders
- Availability to travel on short notice, when required
Desired Characteristics
- Prior experience in Commercial Operations or contract negotiation
- Proven experience in T&Cs (Terms & Conditions) management
- Background in the Energy sector and/or Aftermarket services
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent training
