Job Description
This Business Development role supports strategic business development activities for the Workplace, Strategy and Interiors portfolio across Hassell globally. The primary responsibility is to assist Principals in tracking leads, managing the pipeline, pursuit planning and proactively managing client and industry collaborator engagement. This role leverages research, thought leadership, and other client engagement activities to highlight Hassell’s people and work, supporting our Go to Market strategy.
The role supports the coordination of submissions and presentations, ensuring our bids are distinctive and competitive, driving the pitch on a page strategy. A key aspect of the role is coordinating the bid in consult with the Principal in Charge and Bid Coordinator, and driving a winning strategy.
The position requires the ability to balance forward planning, deadline-driven tasks related to submissions, positioning through client engagement and Marcomms while demonstrating both initiative and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Relevant industry experiences desirable (Interior Design, Commercial workplaces, Property and construction or supplier side. )
- Efficiency and project management across multiple pursuits simultaneously.
- Experience taking the lead on pursuits and being a great communicator
- Strategic research skills and a good knowledge of the main players in the sector.
- Business Development on a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinating bid and pursuit process aligned to work winning strategies.
- Proficiency in overseeing the development of producing high-quality submissions and presentations.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign).
- Sound proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
