Position Summary – Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
As an RBT with Circle City ABA, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a direct role in helping clients develop new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and build independence.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement individualized skill-acquisition and behavior-intervention plans as written by a supervising BCBA
• Collect accurate, real-time data on all treatment goals and behavior programs to support BCBA analysis
• Serve in a direct-care role, maintaining regular communication with supervisors for support, training, and feedback
• Adjust interventions or strategies precisely as trained and directed by the supervising BCBA
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all treatment plans, intervention strategies, and client goals for each child on your caseload or team
• Maintain active RBT certification, including:
- Completing the annual RBT Competency Assessment or required PDUs based on RBT renewal date
- Meeting monthly supervision hour requirements
- Submitting annual renewal materials to the BACB
- Always Adhering to BACB Ethical Standards for RBTS
- Uphold professional, ethical, and compassionate standards in all interactions with clients, families, and team members
Requirements
Registered Behavior Technician RBT Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or national equivalent
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
- Ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
- Must maintain active CPR certification
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and commitment to learning
- Ability to lift, move, or support clients as needed for safety and therapy activities
- Reliability, consistency, and compassion for working with children and families
