We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Parents as Teachers (PAT) Director to lead a critical program supporting families with children from birth to age five.
About the Role
The PAT Director provides strategic leadership, program oversight, and team supervision to ensure high-quality, evidence-based home visiting services. This role is responsible for maintaining fidelity to national Parents as Teachers standards while driving continuous quality improvement and strong community partnerships.
What You Will Do
- Lead, supervise, and develop a high-performing team of parent educators and staff
- Ensure full compliance with PAT national standards, state requirements, and funding guidelines
- Oversee program operations, including data collection, reporting, and quality assurance
- Collaborate with internal leadership and external partners to strengthen service delivery
- Develop and monitor program budgets, goals, and performance outcomes
- Build and maintain community partnerships to support families and expand program reach
- Prepare reports for leadership, Board of Directors, and funding agencies
- Support grant development and identify funding opportunities
- Deliver presentations, training, and community outreach initiatives
What You Will Bring
- Master’s degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, early childhood education, public health)
- 3+ years of experience working with children and families in education or health-related services
- 1–2 years of supervisory or program management experience
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development, home visiting, and family-centered services
- Experience with compliance, program evaluation, and continuous quality improvement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage complex programs, balance multiple priorities, and drive results
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting diverse families
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally (occasional overnight travel as needed)
