About the Role
Responsibilities

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support in various human resources functions for both hospital locations.  Provides guidance to employees on Human Resources issues.  Assists with various stages of the employment process and maintenance of the HRIS personnel data system.  Maintains personnel files to meet regulatory compliance.  Participates in employee engagement and retention initiatives and employee appreciation events. Handles multiple priorities within appropriate task deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  Maintains confidentiality of personnel information.  Performs duties in accordance with hospital mission, values, and behavioral standards.  Full Time Opportunity 40hr/wk Monday through Friday, with flexibility to ensure department services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Successfully complete a drug test
  • Successfully pass national background check

Qualifications

 

  • Experience working in a healthcare Human Resources and/or administrative office setting preferred
  • Recruitment experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field, or equivalent years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Computer proficiency, organized and detail-oriented 
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a face-paced environment
