SUMMARY
The Director of Operations oversees the management of facilities, post-sales support teams, project coordination and pricing, warehouse personnel, and quality assurance. This role involves strategic planning, reporting, and implementing efficiency improvements across operational functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- LMA – Leadership, Management, Accountability
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.
- Act as coach and mentor to all employees in the Operations department.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
- Provide constructive and timely performance conversations.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain succession plans for the department.
- Provide strategic direction, coordination, and evaluation for warehouse operations, quality control, facilities, and inventory management.
- Lead and manage post-sales support teams, including Customer Service and Technical Support, ensuring high-quality customer interactions and support.
- Oversee the Project Coordination and Pricing team, responsible for all post purchase support functions, including order-entry, supporting Sales Engineers, contractor communication, and product deliveries.
- Drive accountability across teams through clear expectations, coaching, reporting, and performance management.
- Maintain and improve systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Business Development and executive leadership to align operational execution with company goals.
- Develop and monitor departmental KPIs, including service levels, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, response times, and quality metrics.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Participate in and promote continuous learning and development through training initiatives such as MN Air University, HR programs, tech-support courses, and webinars.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) business model.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex issues.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Four to six years of experience in operations management or a related role.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
