About the Role
Responsibilities
  • Implement a range of communications programmes, including media publicity, public affairs and stakeholder engagement, in support of the Corporation’s Property BU’s strategic goals;

  • Build good rapport with various community stakeholders in the role of District in charge, and handle relevant enquiries and complaints;

  • Organise and support media and engagement events, and work closely with respective teams across departments to support corporate functions;

  • Prepare communications materials, including presentation decks, press releases, newsletter stories, meeting minutes and property sales materials, as appropriate;

  • Keep abreast of property industry news, monitor district sentiments under purview, prepare news summaries, and conduct related research on relevant government policies, legislation and political developments.



Requirements
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related discipline;

  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in corporate communications, public relations, community affairs or public engagement; experience in property related communications or working with property/business units would be an advantage;

  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills;

  • A fast learner with the ability to work independently and strong attention to detail;

  • Good understanding of public affairs and the media landscape;

  • Good proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

     

Remarks
  • Required to perform duties and work outside office hours and take up media on-call /news reporting duties when necessary

  • Appointment will be made on 2-year renewable contract terms
