Position: Life Coach I / Day Program DSP
Salary: $17.99 per hour
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8AM - 4:30PM
- Locations /Job Type: Hamden Full Time
Responsibilities: The Life Coach I will provide support with daily living, socialization and communication.
Other duties:
- Assist with material and supplies for different program areas
- Operate equipment including computers, printers, photocopiers, laminators, etc.
- Assist with bus loading and unloading or car drop-offs and pick-ups
- Support individual with assistive devices and supportive technologies
- Coordinate with others to determine daily task schedule
- Provide assistance and support with self-care needs
- Provide support and assistance during meal times
- Ability to communicate
- Strong attention to detail
- Innovative problem solving skills
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass Pre-employment Background Check
- Willingness to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certification
