Key Areas of the Role
As a Mobile Patrol Officer and Mobile Security Officer, you will provide mobile security services and world‑class customer service to various portfolios of sites within your patch. Your role as a Mobile Patrol Officer is extremely important; you are the face of Mitie and will be representing the Mitie brand whilst you carry out your duties.
Security is a frontline service; it is imperative that the service we provide as a Mobile Patrol Officer is to the highest standard. The Deputy Branch Manager looks to you to protect client’s people, property, and assets by conducting quality mobile patrols, checks, and inspections.

- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
- Right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable employment history

Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Mobile Security Services: Deliver a range of mobile security services including lockups, unlocks and patrols to client portfolios, alarm responses, and reports.
- Represent Mitie as a front‑line ambassador.
- Uphold the highest levels of professionalism, polite and helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers.
- Develop excellent working relations with Team Leaders and colleagues.

- Understand health and safety requirements of the company and site, including completing necessary training courses and adhering to all guidelines.
- You will be accountable for ensuring:
- Vehicle maintenance checks in line with Highway Code, drive with due care and attention.
- Your appearance and uniform meet company requirements.
- Health and safety policies, risk assessments, and management processes when handling site keys.
- Patrol Completion: Follow site assignment instructions and conduct inspection checks in compliance with the customer’s requirements.
- Alarm Response: Attend incidents on foot or mobile in line with SLA response times.
- Record all incidents accurately and appropriately.
- Ensure vehicle checks are completed and accurate data capture and reporting.
- Uphold site security and monitoring requirements.
- Demonstrate knowledge with SOP’s and SOPS; understand the driver’s responsibilities.
- Patrols: Provide various duties based on Guarding standards (GSO) and assist Regular Security Officers.
- Keyholding: To include company assets, including PDA’s, and ensure dashcams are fully functional and used throughout the shift.
