About the Role

Description


  • To work closely with the medical team in the provision of care for the clients of community businesses and organizations related to employment safety, health, injury, and well-being under the direction of the medical provider.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service to those employees and employers presenting for medical care.
  • To perform patient care including rooming of patients, performing observations, and gathering data for the medical provider.
  • Provide accurate Radiologic films for medical provider to use in assessing patients.


Requirements


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Performing X-Ray’s when ordered by medical provider.
  • Taking vital signs and monitor patients for medical providers.
  • Coordination of lab testing and results for pre-employment and DOT physicals.
  • Enter results of all tests into Electronic Health Records



Qualifications


  • Radiologic Technician certification- AART Limited Scope Technician
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with patients and families.
  • High level of analytic ability to identify and evaluation problems and recommend solutions.
  • Able to react calmly and effectively in an emergency situation.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test, as applicable for the role



Working Conditions


This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Full time position

On call time may be required


Physical Requirements


Travel between XstremeMD locations is required.

May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.
