About the Role

Description

Pay Rate: $21.91/hr. + $1.00/hr. shift differential. Dependent on experience.

Shift: Grave. Weekends and holidays are required.

PURPOSE

Ensure the cleanliness of the Casino, Hotel and office complex in areas where heavy housekeeping equipment is needed and to provide preventive maintenance for all department equipment. Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all functions and meetings space. Assisting EVS Supervisors for the development and implementation of a training plan to ensure a high quality; presentation and level of guest service within the EVS Deep Cleaner team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Give daily support and guidance to fellow cleaners as well as monitor job performance to ensure a successful overall experience by our guests.
  • Assisting EVS Supervisor inspection and oversight to support the cleanliness and maintenance of all functional spaces, public areas, and service areas on all levels.
  • Coordinate with EVS Supervisors to ensure the highest level of service is delivered.
  • Assisting EVS Supervisor to oversee and assist the team; cleaning ceiling tiles, vents, light fixtures, upper walls, foliage, window glass and other items needing ladders over six (6) feet, or use of mechanical lift.
  • Assisting EVS Supervisor to oversee and assist the team in cleaning all carpet and upholstered areas with both wet and dry extraction equipment.
  • Assisting EVS Supervisor to oversee and assist the team cleaning all wood, tile, and vinyl flooring with power equipment, including stripping, sealing, waxing and burnishing.
  • Assisting EVS Supervisor to oversee and assist the team cleaning of all slot machines, table games, restaurants, bars, kitchens and offices.
  • Assisting EVS Supervisor to set-up, repair and perform preventive maintenance on all EVS equipment with emphasis on safety.
  • Keep records of maintenance on equipment, and daily task sheets.
  • Track supplies used in EVS tasks and communicate to EVS management when supplies are needing to be ordered.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • Six (6) months using Commercial Cleaning equipment.
  • Powered Floor Machines
  • Sweeper
  • Vacuum
  • Wet and Dry Extraction equipment.
  • Six (6) months experience in Commercial Floor Care including Carpet Extraction and Restoration, stripping, sealing, waxing, and burnishing.


Skills and Abilities:

  • To maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Climb ladders and/or go up at least 30’ in a Mechanical lift.

PREFERRED

Education and Experience:

  • Six (6) months in a Supervisory role.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
