The Events and Catering Director role is a professional position focused on ensuring the utmost success of the Club’s events and catering operations. They provide excellent customer service and show enthusiasm with members, guests, vendors, and staff. The Events and Catering Director oversees the planning and coordination of all club and catering events and manages the Private Events Administrator. Must have the ability to work all shifts, days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience with ReserveCloud, Prissm (formerly AIISeated), and Club Essentials is a plus.
Must have the ability to work in the United States unrestricted.
Base $120,000. - $150,000.

Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for planning and oversight of all Catering and Events.
- Interacts with the Club membership to help promote event business.
- Communicate event information to other departments through banquet event orders, weekly BEO meetings, and ongoing communications to stay in sync.
- Works with the Executive Chef and other managers to schedule and coordinate personnel requirements for all Club functions.
- Develops detailed side work, timeline, and assignments for staff for each catered event in conjunction with guest requests.
- Assists in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecast to increase the profitability of the banquet operation, and monitors performance against budgets. Informs F & B Director of details.
- Assures the correct appearance, cleanliness, and proper setup of the dining rooms used for each catering event.
- Makes suggestions and develops improvements in banquet service procedures and layout.
- Manages Event Reservations in the Reserve system and uses Club Essentials as needed.
- Designs special club events and decorations with the F & B Director and Executive Chef.
- Prepares billing and thank-you letters for each event and delivers them to the accounting office.
- Performs all reasonable requested work from the F & B Director.
- Responsible for the yearly social calendar.
- Chair of the Entertainment Committee.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years or more of experience in a management role with a primary focus on events and catering.
- Proven success in developing and managing professionals who are adaptable and positive.
- Strong background and experience with technology, like Club Essentials, Reserv, and other software.
- The position requires a highly professional demeanor, adaptability, flexibility, and strict adherence to confidentiality.
- Able to interact with members and staff on all levels in a professional, positive, and friendly manner.
- Adhere to food service policies, procedures, and safety and sanitation.
- Work as a team player and always maintain a professional appearance.
- Ability to work all shifts, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Country Club experience is a plus.
Must have the ability to work in the United States unrestricted.
Mid-May start date.
Base $120,000. - $150,000.
