 JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations supporting the production of electrical skid assemblies. This role ensures efficient receiving, material handling, storage, internal material delivery, and inventory accuracy to support safe, timely, and high-quality manufacturing. The Supervisor leads a warehouse team, drives continuous improvement, and maintains strong coordination with Production, Procurement, and Quality.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee daily receiving activities, ensuring all inbound materials are inspected, verified, and properly documented.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Quality to resolve discrepancies, damaged materials, and supplier issues.
  • Ensure accurate system transactions for all receipts (ERP/MRP systems).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout optimized for safety and workflow.
  • Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored in correct locations, and protected from damage.
  • Schedule and direct timely delivery of materials, kits, and components to production areas.
  • Ensure production priorities are supported through clear communication and responsive service.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and effective control procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variance issues to prevent production delays.
  • Supervise warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Create and uphold a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Supervisory Responsibility

Directly oversees the Warehouse, collaborates with cross-functional Teams, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Environment/Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. 
  • Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department in the Office and Factory Floor.
  • Work includes warehouse, yard, and production floor environments.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. However, depending on workload there may be occasional longer days and occasional weekends as needed. Employee is expected to work the necessary hours to complete all tasks on time and to a satisfactory standard.


Travel
Regular travel is not required for this position.


Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience; supervision experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, receiving processes, and warehouse best practices. 
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems 
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
