Qualifications:

· 2+ years of Service Technician experience required

· Ford Certifications required

· Experience with various transmission types

· Basic computer skills

· Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

· Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities:

· Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

· Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

· Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble transmission units.

· Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

· Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

· Execute repairs under warranty to Ford's precise factory specifications.

· Inform Service Advisors of needed repairs, time estimates, and warranty status.
