About the Role

Description

General Position Description: As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a broad range of marketing and communication initiatives to effectively tell the overall brand story for multiple accounts. This role supports integrated marketing efforts across digital and traditional channels, including content creation, social media, advertising, website management, and the development of sales and marketing materials. 


Your day-to-day will include close collaboration with operations and other key departments to gather content, stories, and updates that can be translated into meaningful communications for employees, key stakeholders and external audiences. You will serve as a connector between teams – ensuring that important initiatives, milestones, and messages are captured and shared through the right channels. This includes coordinating internal communications, supporting employee-facing content, and helping to align messaging across the organization so that every team member stays informed and engaged. 

Overall role and responsibilities will be split between Beef NW and its affiliates, such as Northwest Beef Express and Wilson Cattle Co. 


Duties: This position entails but not limited to the following duties:


Content Creation

o Bi-annual internal newsletter.

o Schedule and publish content.

o Create and curate engaging content, including images, videos, infographics, and philanthropic events tailored to each platform audience. 

o Respond to social media comments and messages.

· Marketing Strategy and Channel Management

o Develop and execute marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels.

o Analyze and report marketing metrics to assess the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions. 

o Monitor marketing and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and adapt strategies accordingly. 


Website Management

o Manage and update company’s website to ensure it reflects the latest information, services, events and messaging. 

o Collaborate with website developers and designers to optimize website functionality.

o Create and update website content.

o Develop priorities for website content.

o Implement Website audit process for triggering updates and overhaul/refresh.


 Online Advertising

o Develop, implement and monitor online advertising campaigns across various platforms.

o Conduct keyword research to optimize performance.

o Analyze campaign data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions and provide recommendations for future campaigns.

o Stay current with digital advertising trends and emerging platforms.


Creation of Marketing Materials 

o Design and develop messaging for both digital and printed collateral pieces that will be distributed via multiple channels. 

§ Multiple pieces as needed - 

· POS Materials

· Marketing Materials – branded brochures, branded one-sheeters, tradeshow materials, etc. 

· Pitch Decks

o Responsible for capturing product photography & other graphics needed for these materials. 


Swag Management

o Ordering and maintaining swag inventory

o Assisting team members with accessing swag inventory when needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

· 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field; agricultural or food industry experience a plus.

· Proficiency with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and digital advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads).

· Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and basic photography/video editing skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

· Collaborative, self-starter mindset with comfort working across departments and with a variety of stakeholders.

· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed.


Success Parameters:

The Marketing Coordinator will be considered successful when they consistently demonstrate the following: 

· Content Consistency and Quality. Social media channels and the internal newsletter are published on schedule with on-brand, engaging content. Bi-annual newsletters are delivered on time and reflect meaningful stories from across the organization.

· Digital Performance Growth. Social media engagement, follower growth, and website traffic trends upward over time. Ad campaigns are monitored and optimized regularly, with performance summaries shared with leadership on a routine cadence.

· Brand Cohesion Across Entities. Marketing materials across Beef NW, Northwest Beef Express, and Wilson Cattle Co. maintain a consistent voice and visual identity. The coordinator proactively flags inconsistencies and recommends updates.

· Internal Communication Effectiveness. Employees and key stakeholders are reliably informed of important updates, milestones, and organizational news through appropriate channels. The coordinator is viewed by internal teams as a trusted communication resource.

· Website Currency and Functionality. The company website is up to date, visually current, and free of outdated content. A regular audit process is established and documented, with updates actioned in a timely manner.

· Materials Delivered On Time and On Brand. Marketing collateral – including brochures, POS materials, tradeshow assets, and pitch decks – is completed on schedule and meets brand standards. Requests from internal stakeholders are handled professionally and with reasonable turnaround.

· Cross-Departmental Partnership. The coordinator is actively engaged with operations and other departments, consistently gathering stories and content that elevate internal and external communications. They are seen as a collaborative partner, not just a service function.

  • Travels to company locations across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho; valid driver's license required.
  • May work in outdoor or agricultural settings during site visits and content capture.
