Job Duties:

  • Support safe practices, infection control, and respect for residents’ rights;
  • Coordinate projects maintenance and upkeep with Administrator/Office Manager and home office;
  • Ensure compliance with AHJ.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on, including but not limited to mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Respond promptly to requests for assistance relating to maintenance;
  • Provide or coordinate routine grounds maintenance
  • Assure that all safety equipment is in proper working order
  • Provide finish work, surface repair, painting,
  • Assist in planning and implementing large projects.
  • Document work in the manner required by home office
  • Be willing and able to assist in other departments of the community

Requirements

Schedule:

  • Full-Time
  • Mon - Fri: 8am - 4:30pm
  • On-call as needed

Qualifications and Job Skills:

  • Must pass a criminal background check & motor vehicle record check;
  • Willing to work nights and weekends, as needed for emergencies;
  • Must be able to follow safety and OSHA regulations;
  • Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep;
  • Must have excellent communication skills;
  • Must have a strong commitment to customer service;
  • Must have computer skills;
  • Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds routinely;
  • Able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, reach and climb ladders.
