BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments.  Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state.  BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provides support of BWC’s healthcare delivery model by educating and supporting clinicians who treat workers’ compensation patients.
  • Troubleshoot individual claim issues resulting from the care-management process.
  • Develops strategies for recruiting, maintaining, and improving the collective performance of BWC-certified providers.
  • Completes reports, monitors compliance, acts as healthcare policy expert in matters when warranted.
  • Participates in vendor fairs and speaking engagements with partners and providers in medical communities as it relates to discussing BWC’s healthcare delivery system.


Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • 3 – 5 years’ clinical experience in a hospital, urgent care, or medical practice setting.
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience with reviewing and resolving issues related to workers’ compensation claims.
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience with educating medical professionals.

This position is overtime exempt
