Position Summary:

The Grill Cook is responsible for the preparation, production, or displaying of all foods in an assigned area during a scheduled shift, ensuring the efficiency of the Grill operation in accordance with Fortune Bay Resort Casino specifications and standards.


Core Duties and Responsibilities:

The Grill Cook is responsible for the following duties: 

  • Prepare, season, finish, and/or garnish all food in the Grill preparation in accordance with established recipes.
  • Work as a team member in producing a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
  • Store food in designated containers/storage areas to prevent spoilage with product name, date, and initials.
  • Take and record the temperature of food and food storage areas such as refrigerators and freezers.
  • Work assigned positons, which may include prep, production or display station. 
  • Follow all recipes and control procedures.
  • Prepare or display food to company specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times in full accordance with State Health Regulations.

Qualifications – Education and Experience:


 Minimum Qualifications:

  • None required.

  • Prior cooking experience.

  • Responsible/reliable, flexible, and confident.
  • Ability to ensure a safe working environment by complying with safety rules and reporting potential hazards.
