Our optical manufacturing facility is growing and expanding!  We're excited to offer new openings for Maintenance technicians.  The addition of a new shift creates more opportunities at our optical lab for career growth.   

Schedules:  Our FT 2nd shift positions work 3 days/week with 4 days off.  Perfect for those wanting to restructure non-work hours or minimize commutes.  

  • Shift 2A:     Sundays through Tuesdays  (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)
  • Shift 2B:     Wednesdays through Fridays  (3:30 pm - 4:00 am)

Pay & extras:  Competitive base pay (DOE) PLUS 10% shift differential AND extra bi-weekly bonus opportunities.  We also have a generous PTO plan and numerous benefits.

Job Description

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical lab. 

Principal duties and responsibilities include:

  • Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists
  • Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time
  • Servicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and Blockers
  • Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating
  • Identifying issues and performing repairs
  • Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab
  • Following all safety measures, "Lock out / Tag out" procedures and utilizing PPE if required

Qualifications

  • No specific education required
  • 1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC, etc.)
  • Experience in manufacturing desired, optical industry knowledge a plus but not required
  • Must be able to read and write English
