Software Engineer Ⅰ - MERN

Devsinc is hiring a Software Engineer Ⅰ – MERN Stack with 1.5+ years of post-graduate hands-on experience in building and maintaining full-stack web applications using MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), RESTful APIs, and database design, along with practical exposure to developing scalable, high-performance applications. You should be comfortable working across both frontend and backend, writing clean, maintainable code, and contributing to production-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs using Python/ Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage efficient database schemas (MongoDB/PostgreSQL).
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Assist in implementing authentication & authorization (JWT/OAuth).
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Full-stack/ MERN development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) & hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js (Express.js).
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices (basic understanding).
• Familiarity with MongoDB or PostgreSQL (CRUD operations, basic schema design).
• Familiarity with Git, version control, and code reviews.
• Understanding of async programming (Promises, async/await).
• Basic understanding of ORMs (Prisma, Sequelize, or similar) is a plus.
• Exposure to Docker/ Ci-Cd/ cloud (AWS preferred) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of logging & monitoring tools (Winston, Sentry) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills & excellent communication skills.
